Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a 4G/5G ePC Developer/Engineer

Duration: 12+ months
Location: Dallas, TX / Hybrid

As a 4G/5G ePC Developer/Engineer you will:Design, implement, and troubleshoot 4G/5G EPC components.
Analyze and optimize call flows across EPC and 5G Core.
Work with network protocols including GTP, Diameter, SCTP, TCP/IP, and HTTP/2.
Develop and integrate solutions aligned with 3GPP standards.
Use tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump for network trace analysis and troubleshooting.
Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate in cloud-based environments, including OpenStack.
Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.


The ideal candidate will have:

4G EPC Components:
MME (Mobility Management Entity)
SGW (Serving Gateway)
PGW (Packet Gateway)
HSS (Home Subscriber Server)
PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function)


5G Core Components:
AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function)
SMF (Session Management Function)
UPF (User Plane Function)
NRF (Network Repository Function)
PCF (Policy Control Function)
AUSF (Authentication Server Function)


Standards & Interfaces:
Familiarity with 3GPP standards for EPC and 5GC
Key interfaces:4G: S1, S5/S8, S11, Gx, Gy
5G: N1, N2, N3, N4, N6, N10




Network Protocols:
GTP, Diameter, SCTP, HTTP/2, TCP/IP


Call Flows:
Strong understanding of end-to-end call flows for both 4G and 5G networks




Virtualization & Cloud-Native Technologies:
OpenStack
Docker
Kubernetes


Additional Knowledge:
IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem)
VoLTE / VoNR (Voice over LTE / Voice over New Radio)


Soft Skills:
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach


Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
3+ years of experience in telecom core network development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is a plus

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: 60hr W2 - 65hr W2

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
