Volt is hiring a Fire Pump or Water Tank Designer/Drafter in Grand Prairie, TX with a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions, specializing in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems. As a Designer/Drafter you will:

Design and develop mechanical components and systems using Inventor software.
Collaborate with engineering teams to conceptualize and create innovative solutions.
Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for new designs.
Perform mechanical and electrical system analyses to identify potential design improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve design issues throughout the development process.
Maintain detailed records of design changes, revisions, and technical documentation.
Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering processes.

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

5-7 years design experience using Inventor software for 3D modeling and design
Must have fire pump or water tank experience
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Salary: $65000-75000 annually
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
